1. (U) The US and Mozambique do not currently have any
bilateral trade agreements for which we can monitor
compliance, however Mozambique is a member of the World
Trade Organization.


2. (U) The US and Mozambique do have a Bilateral
Investment Treaty, which took effect in March 2005. Post
has reported on and continues to monitor any investment
disputes or concerns that government actions might have
violated the BIT.
