(SBU) In a meeting on May 31 with Department of Foreign Affairs Executive Director for United Nations and International Organizations MacArthur Corsino, poloff urged high level Philippine attendance at the High-Level Political Meeting for the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) on June 23 (reftel). Poloff noted that U.S. Undersecretary Joseph and Undersecretary Levey would attend. While reiterating the GRP's support for PSI, which President Arroyo publicly endorsed in September 2005, Corsino said the GRP was still determining the nature and level of its representation.
