Not for Internet distribution. ¶1. (SBU) Head of State King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will not attend the UNGA. ¶2. (SBU) Head of Government Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa will not attend the UNGA. ¶3. (SBU) The head of Bahrain's delegation to the UNGA will be Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa. He will arrive in New York (JFK) on September 18 at 1950 hrs aboard American Airlines flight 1674. He will depart New York on/about September 25. He does not intend to visit other locations in the U.S. He will be present for the General Debate and deliver Bahrain's statement on September ¶20. He requests Diplomatic Security protection.
