Minister of Information/Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar would represent Bahrain at the August
31 Stockholm Conference. He said Bahrain had no plans to
announce a pledge of assistance at the conference in addition
to those it had already made (Ref B). He commented, "We
always have an open mind, but it's hard to always have an
open wallet."
