Begin Text: Ref: 19/1/5-72857 Date: July 25, 2006 Secret SIPDIS The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States of America in the Kingdom of Bahrain and refers to the Embassy,s note number 167 dated June 24, 2006 with regard to the agreement of the U.S. Government to the visit of a security delegation from the Ministry of Interior and the National Security Agency to Guantanamo Bay Base. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to express its gratitude to the esteemed Embassy on cooperation efforts in this regard, and wishes to advise that the proposed time for the security delegation to visit Guantanamo is Monday, September 4, 2006. The Ministry would highly appreciate the Embassy,s notification in regard to this matter as soon as possible.
