Pol/Econ officer paid a call on MFA Security and Disarmament
Officer Felipe Ramalheiro on August 23 to discuss the U.S.
non-paper regarding modernizing MTCR controls on UAVs and
cruise missiles. Ramalheiro will pass the information to the
Portuguese embassy in Copenhagen to prepare for the October
meeting. He reiterated that Portugal has no objections to
the modifications proposed by the United States in reftels.
