Pol/Econ officer notified MFA's Ana Coelho of the U.S. plans
to nominate Abousofian Abdelrazik for the UN's consolidated
list. Emboff further conveyed that, due to the potential
risk Abdelrazik poses to both U.S. and international
security, the USG will not be able to offer the usual
two-week pre-notification. Coelho promised to distribute the
information to her interagency contacts immediately.
