(C) On Tuesday, January 17 Poloff met with Director of Political Affairs Paul Chiunguzeni and presented talking points in reftel. After a short discussion on Iran's continued violations of international agreements, Chiunguzeni said the GOM would be supportive of the effort to properly deal with Iran. He stated that he thought, "Iran needs a kick," and that it must live up to its agreements. Poloff left a copy of the talking points, the EU-3 Ministers speech, and the Secretary's speech with Chiunguzeni, and also delivered a second copy of the documents to the Foreign Minister's office.
