On August 6, EconOff delivered reftel demarche regarding the
Draft UN Security Council Resolution on Lebanon to political
analyst Aysha Al-Dikheen of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
International Organizations Department. Al-Dikheen expressed
the GOK's shared desire for a prompt and sustainable
ceasefire and said she would immediately convey the USG
position to MFA Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah. Post will
report any further GOK response by septel.
