Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Khaled
Al-Jarallah. He reviewed the June 17 Quartet decision to
endorse an EU proposal for a temporary international
mechanism to facilitate the provision of assistance to the
Palestinian people and encouraged the GOK to use one or more
of the three "windows." Referring to the June 3 visit to
Kuwait of NEA Assistant Secretary Welch (ref B),Al-Jarallah
reiterated that Kuwait was ready to provide humanitarian
assistance to the Palestinian people and appreciated the
formation of a practical mechanism to facilitate the flow of
aid.
