(C) Following up on the May 14 visit of a
State-Defense-National Security Council interagency visit to
Kuwait (septel),the Ambassador restated to Ministry of
Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah the
importance of GOK endorsement of the Proliferation Security
Initiative (PSI) and participation in PSI exercises.
Al-Jarallah stated, "you will have a very positive response
from us." The Ambassador reminded the U/S of both the
upcoming exercise in Turkey and the June high-level meeting
in Poland.
