On December 22, we delivered ref demarche and supporting
materials to the office of Shahrul Ikram, the Foreign
Ministry's Under Secretary for Multilateral Political
Affairs. An official in his office has subsequently informed
us that Malaysia intends to send a representative to the
conference but that they have not yet identified the
participant. We reminded them of the registration deadline
and the need provide us with the details as soon as possible.
