CONFERENCE ON WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

We discussed the USDOL APEC Conference on Workforce
Development with Malaysia's Ministry of Human Resources, as
directed reftel. The Ministry informed us that Mr. Mohamad
Sani Abdul Rahman,
Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Policy Division in
the Ministry, will be participating in
the conference. The Ministry said they were in contact with
the conference organizers. Ministry did not request any USG
funding for the Malaysian participant.
