On July 31, Johan Ariff Abdul Razak, MFA Assistant Secretary of the United Nations and Disarmament Branch stated that Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi will lead the Malaysian delegation, accompanied by Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar. Johan was unable to confirm any further details on the high-level attendance.
