1. (C) The Ambassador called DCM at 2115 to report that the
CIAT ambassadors had all safely arrived at MONUC headquarters
from Bemba's residence. The Minister of Budget (and MLC
member) Francois Mwamba, plus some members of Bemba's family,
were in the MONUC convoy as well. CIAT ambassadors are
currently being briefed at MONUC, and arrangements are being
made by MONUC security to transport all ambassadors back to
their residences.
