(SBU) On June 19, Poloff faxed Ref A and Ref B talking points
to Pamela Ingleton, Desk Officer, International Organizations
Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade
(MFA). Poloff subsequently spoke to Ingleton, who stated
that a delegation from the Jamaican Mission in Geneva would
be attending the June 20-21 conference and would support
amendment of the Statutes of the Movement to reflect the
change to the Geneva Conventions. Ingleton also stated that
Jamaica would not support a vote to adjourn the Conference
shortly after is has been opened.
