1. Post requests the Department's assistance in screening
the following candidate, who has been nominated for training
in the U.S., pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance
Act. The candidate is scheduled to participate in a Near
East and South Asia (NESA) course from November 29 to
December 15, 2006, at the National Defense University in
Washington. As of this date, Post has no derogatory
information. Post requests a response from the Department by
November 10, 2006 because the participant will require the
lead time to make arrangements.
2. The background information of the proposed candidate is as
follows:
