urging senior level attendance at the Force Generation
Meeting on Lebanon in New York to Narayan Pant, Under
Secretary, UN and International Law Division, Ministry of

Foreign Affairs. Pant stressed that Nepal has a strong
interest in the force generation because of its substantial
commitment of troops already to the United Nations Interim
Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). Pant agreed to convey our points
immediately to the Nepali permanent mission in New York.
