(U) Embassy Kabul welcomes Governor Mitt Romney, Massachusets; Governor Matt Blunt, Missouri; Lieutenant General H. Steven Blum, US Army; Governor Brian Schweitzer, Montana; Anthony Welcher, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, DOS; Dan Wilmot, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, DOD; LTC Kurt Vogel, US Air Force; Captain Ernest Barringer, US Air Force; Mr. Eddie Johnson; Ms. Barbara Davis; and Major Matt Green, US Marine Corps, and grants country clearance for their visit to Afghanistan on May 25-26, 2006, to visit troops from their home states. As Afghanistan is a very socially conservative country, female travelers are recommended to dress modestly. ¶4.
