American Continent Office. U.S. Desk Officer Mirwais Samadi
promised to pass them to the U.N. Affairs Department and the
Acting Minister. He indicated the U.S. request would have to
be considered carefully, as Iran is a neighbor and important
regional partner. Post will follow up with the UN Department
to obtain the MFA's position.
