(SBU) Pol/C met with MFA International Organizations Deputy Director General Le Hoai Trung August 10 to deliver reftel points and draft Security Council resolution. Trung said that the GVN is closely following the situation in Lebanon and shares the USG's concerns. The GVN hopes that there will be a quick end to the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The GVN also deplores the violation of Lebanese sovereignty and the indiscriminate destruction of the lives and property of Lebanese civilians, Trung said.
