¶1. EmbOff delivered reftel talking points to Jackie Hamer, Director
for Multilateral Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 4.
Hamer was aware of the event and said that the GOG's representative
at the U.N. General Assembly would plan to attend the High Level
Dialogue on Migration as well. Hamer reiterated that the GOG has yet
to determine who will attend UNGA in light of the upcoming August 28
elections. The Foreign Ministry is in the process of drafting a
cabinet paper to brief Guyana's representative, and Hamer said she
would pass the points to the relevant officials.
