¶1. EmbOff delivered talking points to Jackie Hamer, Director of
Multlateral and Global Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July
¶26. Hamer said that the Ministry is currently drafting a position
paper on the Iran matter and that the demarche comes at an opportune
time to inform that process. Hamer also said that Guyana is
"certainly in favor of a peaceful solution" to the Iran nuclear
issue.
