In a diplomatic note dated March 29, 2006, Guyana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the GoG (Director of Public Prosecution) has requested copies or certified copies of the indictment and arrest warrant against Moonie Moses. ¶2. The diplomatic note also stated: "The Laws of Guyana by virtue of Section 9 of the Fugitive Offenders Act of 1988 stipulates that in order for the Director of Public Prosecution to make an application for the extradiction of Moonie Moses, for whom a warrant of arrest was issued on September 15, 2005 by the Superior Court of Suffolk County Massachusetts, a copy or certified copy of the indictment against him as well as the warrant for his arrest would be required." ¶3.
