On June 19 emboff delivered reftel points to Irish Department
of Foreign Affairs UN/Terrorism and Illicit Drugs Section
First Secretary Brian Cahalane. Cahalane assured us of
continued Irish support for the adoption of the Red Crystal
protocol. He also said he would notify the Irish
representative in Geneva of the possible attempt of some OIC
states to adjourn the conference shortly after it convenes.
