(C) On March 10, Post delivered reftel points to Stephen
Dawson, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Deputy of
Regional Affairs in the Middle East and North Africa. Dawson
said that the GOI's objectives in dealing with Hamas are
largely the same as those of the USG, and, as previously
reported to DCM (reftel B),Ireland will continue to conform
with EU-wide policy prohibiting contact with Hamas.
