(C) Dhaka's Visa Viper Committee met on January 31, 2006 and discussed two categories of individuals to be submitted to Visas Viper: a list of names which the Bangladesh Government has submitted to Interpol for "Red Notices" and a JMB member who admitted to surveillance of Peace Corps volunteers under instructions from his commanders. ¶2. (C) The committee agreed that sixteen Bangladeshi Nationals, whose names were submitted to Interpol by the Bangladesh Government, should be included. Out of the list of sixteen, five were already entered into CLASS twice (once by DOS, with a "00" refusal code, and a second time with an "Interpol" designation). They carry the same information, in the same format, as the list post has to work with, so are obviously from the same source. Another three lack the "Interpol" hit, but do have the same "00" listing by the Department, in the same format. The remaining eight individuals are: ¶3. (C) FERDOUS, Jahang, Interpol Control number A-1503/9-2005, DPOB 17-NOV-1977, Bogra, Bangladesh, AKA JAHANGIR, Kala, son of RAHMAN, Golam, and BEGUM, Peara. ¶11. (C) The Committee also agreed to submit the name of the individual known as JEWEL, who conducted surveillance on a group of Peace Corps Volunteers at Gazipur in October/November 2005. This person is ANAYATULLAH, H M, DPOB 21-FEB-1980, Badshapara, Gopalgonj, Bangladesh AKA OBYED or JEWEL. ¶12. (C) Action Requested: Dhaka has obtained a photograph of H. M. ANAYATULLAH, AKA "Obyed" or "Jewel" and would like to know if there is any way to submit this photograph for inclusion into the CLASS database. Please advise. ¶13.
