Dr. Siddique reiterated BDGs position (Ref B) that the first session should focus on procedural matters. He also firmly stated that the BDG will not be part of any anti-Israel resolution and promised to confirm this with Foreign Secretary Hemmayetuddin, who will represent Bangladesh at the SIPDIS HRC meeting in Geneva. Embassy also delivered Ref A points to the Director for UN Affairs at the MFA, Hamid Rashid, who is preparing the briefing materials for the BDG delegation. BUTENIS
