Ambassador Butenis met with Foreign Minister Morshed Khan on
June 1 and delivered points reftel. Khan noted that
Bangladesh generally acts in accordance with the OIC. Even
so, Bangladesh always supports dialogue to resolve disputes.
Stressing that Bangladesh seeks to work "in concert with" the
United States, Khan promised that the BDG would "find
language" urging all parties to refrain from a collision
course and to come to the table to find a solution.
