Acting Charge d'Affaires delivered demarche (reftel) to
acting Foreign Secretary Towhid Hossain and to Director
General for the Americas and Pacific desk Shahidul Islam.
A/CDA said that Bangladesh Ambassador to the U.S. Chowdhury
assured IO PDAS Warlick that Bangladesh would vote against
Iran and Venezuela and how disappointed we would be if that
were not the case. A/FS Hossain and DG Islam accepted the
demarche and did not refute Ambasssador Chowdhury's statement.
