¶1. (C) On October 17, Charge called Senegalese Acting
Foreign Minister Claude Absa Diallo and requested that
Senegal continue to support Guatemala in the contest for the
Latin American Security Council seat. Ambassador Diallo
assured Charge of continuing support and said that she would
follow up with the Senegalese PermRep in New York.
¶2. (C) Guinea-Bissau Watcher discovered that the
Bissau-Guinean Foreign Minister is en route to Dakar and
demarched the Ambassador of Guinea-Bissau who promised to
relay the message.
