On November 8 Pol/Econ chief delivered reftel demarche to MFA
Director of International Organizations Thomas Adoumasse and
encouraged the GOB to support the Australian amendment.
Adoumasse acknowledged the vote on the amendment would take
place today. Adoumasse said he would try to speak to the
GOB's UN permanent representative today to see "what could be
done."
