AIRTRANSPORT AGREEMENT.

¶1. (SBU) Embassy Colombo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka exchanged
notes constituting an agreement to remove Annex 3 of the
Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the
United States of America and the Government of the
Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Accordingly,
the agreement on this subject between the two governments
entered into force on September 12, the date of the Foreign
Ministry's note.
¶2. (SBU) As requested, the relevant notes (Embassy's Note No 420
of August 6, 2006 and Foreign Ministry's Note No
L/EA/AIR/59 of September 12, 2006) and other related
correspondence have been faxed and pouched to L/T Frank
Holleran.
