11.COMMENTS:
PRODUCT DATA
A.PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Sealed bid are invited to pre-
qualify firms for the construction and extension of Jaya
Container Terminal of the Port of Colombo.
B.OTHER INFORMATION:
(1)Pre-qualification is open to firms who have
experience as prime contractors in the execution of
a least three project of nature and complexity
and complexity
comparable to the proposed project within the 15
years. The work will include:
(a)The construction of container quay walls and
revetments
(b)Reclamation and pavement of container yards
(c)Construction of drainage facilities
(2)Pre-qualification documents can be purchased from
the above office on payment of a non refundable fee
of Sri Lanka Rupees 10,000VAT (US Dollar Rupees
101). Payment should be made either by cash or by a
certified bank check and payable to the ?Sri Lanka
Ports Authority?
(3)Pre-qualification documents will be issued up to
March 06, 2006.
(4)Closing date: March 13, 2006 at 14:30 hours
REMARKS: The construction of the extension project at the
Port of Colombo will be financed by the Sri Lanka Ports
Authority.
