Director Federico Villegas on September 26. While not
stating explicitly what action the GoA delegation in Geneva
would take, Villegas said he agreed with our concerns
regarding Cuba's attempt to eliminate the Council's mandate
on Cuba and its efforts to bar NGOs from participating in
discussions on country-specific resolutions before the
Council.
