PolCouns delivered reftel demarche on May 24 to Minister
Jorge Gomez of the Argentine MFA Office of International
Organizations. In reviewing talking points with Gomez,
PolCouns underscored the importance of consensus
decision-making on UN budget matters. Gomez said he would
transmit our concerns to relevant offices within the MFA and
would also send our talking points to the Argentine
ambassador in Kuala Lumpur, who will be serving as the
Argentine head of delegation to the NAM ministerial.
