(S) Further to Reftel, PolMilOff discussed on May 12
participation in the upcoming Plenary meeting of the
Australia Group (AG) in Paris with Cristian Istrate, MFA
Director General for Strategic Policy. Referring to Reftel
talking points, PolMilOff underscored the importance of any
information Romania could share related to Russia in light of
Russia's interest in membership in the AG. Istrate promised
to discuss our points with key action officers in the MFA and
stated that Romania would evaluate the possibility of sharing
information at the AG Plenary.
