The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados
presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States
of America and has the honour to refer to its candidature to
the International Law Commission at the elections to be held
during the 61st Session of the United Nations General
Assembly.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade wishes to
recall that the Government of Barbados has presented its
candidature to the Economic and Social Council (ESOSOC) for
the period 2007-2009, at elections to be held during the 61st
Session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2006 and
would wish to propose an offer of reciprocal support for the
two candidatures.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados
avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of
the United States of America assurances of its highest
consideration.
