1. (U) Poloff delivered reftel points to Karol Mistrik,
Director of the Arms Control and Disarmament Section at the
MFA. Mistrik was very appreciative of the information and
congratulated the U.S. for sending such a high-level
delegation. Mistrik said that the U.S. sends a valuable
message about the significance of the meeting and the
Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI).


2. (U) Mistrik regretted that, due to Parliamentary elections
scheduled for June 17, Slovakia will not be able to send such
a high-level delegation. Slovakia will be represented by its
Ambassador to Poland. Mistrik said he would forward U.S.
talking points to the Ambassador.
