(C) Poloff raised reftel points on UN reform with the GOC on
May 26, prior to the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministerial
in Malaysia May 27-30. At that time, the GOC had no
substantive response. MFA Minister Counselor for
Multilateral Political Affairs Nicolas Rivas said June 13 the
GOC is studying the package of reforms suggested by the
United States and is actively discussing them with its
NAM/G-77 colleagues.
