(U) On July 18, Poloffs met with representatives of the Serbian MFA regarding Serbia's official representation at the 61st UN General Assembly (UNGA) high-level events in September 2006, per reftel instructions. MFA said the government was just starting to arrange its delegation, but confirmed that Serbian President Boris Tadic planned to lead the delegation and Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Draskovic plans to attend the meetings. Other high level officials may also be attending. Additional information on itineraries and requests for meetings should be available by early next week and will be forwarded. POLT
