1. Ambassador delivered points in reftel to Prime Minister
Thaksin at a meeting on June 1. Thaksin told Ambassador that
he saw no problem in Thailand subscribing to the U.S.
position on multilateral talks with Iran. Thaksin added that
his government would prepare a statement of support for the
U.S. proposal and would urge Iran to join the talks.
