In a November 6 meeting with Federico Gonzalez, Paraguay's
Vice Foreign Minister, DCM stressed the importance the U.S.
attaches to Paraguay's meeting its obligations under UNSCR
¶1718. Having returned this summer from serving as Paraguay's
Ambassador to South Korea, Gonzalez conveyed appreciation for
the gravity of the situation the international community
faces in North Korea and Paraguay's commitment to meet its
obligations.
