PolOff delivered message to Terumi Matsuo, the MFA's Director
for International Organizations, October 17 and urged GOP
support of the tripartite position regarding the UN
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Matsuo told
PolOff that she will consult with the MFA Director for Human
Rights, Francisco Barreiro Perrotta, who is currently in the
United States for meetings. Matsuo will also discuss the
matter with her colleagues at their UN Mission in New York.
