1. (U) This cable constitutes the monthly Visas Viper report
for Embassy Ankara and Consulates Istanbul and Adana.
Consulates submit Visas Viper reports to Ankara for
inclusion in the Embassy's Visa Viper working group report.
2. (U) Visas Viper meetings were held by Embassy Ankara on
03 January, by Consulate General Istanbul on 30 December,
and by Consulate Adana on 29 December, to review on-going
Visas Viper program activities throughout U.S. Mission
Turkey. Representatives of CONS, DEA, ECON, FBI, OSI, PMA,
POL, RAO and RSO participated. A total of 212 additional
names were reported (REFTEL).
