1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel demarche October 19 to Ayman
Aamiry and Azzam Alameddin of the Foreign Ministry's
International Organizations Department. Aamiry said he would
inform Foreign Minister Khatib, and that he would contact
Embassy if an observer could be identified before the Eid
holiday.
2. (SBU) DAO delivered General Abizaid's reftel invitation to
the PSI exercise Leading Edge to General Sarayreh, Chairman
of the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces, on October 19.
