(SBU) As requested ref, Polcouns informed Ayman Aamiry, Chief
of the Foreign Ministry's International Organizations
Department, on October 17 that the USG would provide USD
100,000 to support the GOJ's hosting of the Conference of
State Parties for the UN Convention Against Corruption
(UNCAC) December 10-14. Aamiry said he would inform Foreign
Minister Khatib, and that he would contact embassy once the
Ministry identified a coordinator for the conference and
funding arrangements.
