reftel talking points and non-paper to Faris Sharaf, Deputy
Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, and Muheeb Nimrat,
the U.S. desk officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on
April 18 and 19, respectively. The points were received
without comment. The Commercial Bank of Syria does not
maintain any branches in Jordan although it does have a
correspondent relationship with Arab Bank (Amman).
