Lee indicated that Taiwan was open to the U.S. proposal to expand the Federal Flight Deck Officer Program to include flights to Taiwan. CAA Air Transport Division Security Division Officer Jackson Jai said that Taiwan could implement the program under the same regulations and conditions for travel of U.S. Federal Air Marshals (FAMS) to Taiwan. ¶2. However, Taiwan will require more information about the program before agreeing to participate.
