Emboff met November 16 with Mrs. Genevieve Baah, contact
point for Codex. Baah said that the GOG will not be sending
a representative to the November 27 upcoming Codex
Alimentarius Commission's Biotechnology Task Force meeting.
However, Baah indicated that she would submit comments after
reviewing and circulating the project document. GoG hopes to
attend future meetings. Embassy sent written copy of the
talking points to Mrs. Elizabeth Adotola, Director of the
Standards Division.
